Mission
Washington County Sheriff's Substation  

The Salem Sub Station is located on Route 22 in the Town of Salem. The Station is fully equipped and linked to all data bases and systems to the Fort Edward Law Enforcement Center through fiber optics. 

This station was opened in May of 2007 and  replaces the old station located in the Village Of Salem. The Salem Sub Station was dedicated to Lieutenant Donald J. Nassivera Jr. who served with the Sheriff’s Office from 1971 until his untimely death on October 27, 2006. He gave 35 years of service to the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Washington County.
