J-Fire Program

About the Program
The Senior Caseworker assigned to this team participates in Juvenile Fire Intervention Response and Education (J-Fire) meetings. Referrals for youth who are identified to have fire-setting behaviors can come from local fire officials, law enforcement, schools, parents, and service providers.

The J-Fire assessment is done by casework staff with the child and family along with local fire officials in order to determine risk levels and the need for education or further evaluation.
