Rabies Clinic

Rabies clinics are held for animals throughout the year. New York State requires a current rabies vaccine for every dog, cat, or ferret. These clinics are held at various locations in the county.

Vaccination Frequency
All dogs, cats, and ferrets should be vaccinated against rabies at 3 months of age and re-vaccinated 1 year later, then every 3 years thereafter. Please bring proof of any previous rabies vaccination. Vaccines are administered in accordance with the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians (NASPHV).

Free Clinic
All Washington County Rabies clinics are free to the public.
