Opportunity Project

Funding for the Opportunity Project is provided through a 5-year grant from the NYS Office of Probation and Correctional Alternatives.

Program Goals
  • To help participants obtain and/or maintain employment
  • To improve participants’ financial quality of life
  • To improve relationships between the participant and their families
  • To increase participants’ knowledge about parenting skills

Target Population
  • Must be a New York State resident
  • Must be a parent (custodial or non custodial)
  • Must be income eligible (200% poverty guidelines)
  • Must have a non-violent criminal charge or conviction
